Kerb Appeal That Lasts
The Pennine weather doesn’t take it easy on paintwork, so exterior decorating around here has to be done properly. I paint masonry, render, doors, windows, fascias, soffits and gutters using durable, weather-resistant exterior paints — giving your home a fresh look and a layer of protection against wind and rain.

Exterior work stands or falls on preparation. Before any paint goes on, surfaces are washed down, flaking paint is scraped and sanded back, cracks are filled and bare patches are primed or stabilised. Skipping that stage is why some exterior paint jobs peel within a year or two — mine don’t.
Typical jobs include repainting render and pebbledash, refreshing front doors and window frames, painting fascias, soffits and downpipes, and smartening up garden walls, gates and railings. Whether it’s the whole front of the house or just a tired front door, no job is too small.
Exterior painting is weather-dependent, so I’ll plan the work around a suitable window and keep you informed if conditions push things about. Spring through early autumn is the ideal time — if you’re thinking about it, it’s worth booking in early.
Areas Covered
I offer exterior painting throughout the Pendle area, including Colne, Nelson, Barrowford and Barnoldswick, plus the surrounding villages.
While the outside’s being done, it’s a great time to think about the inside too — see my interior decorating and wallpapering services, or browse the gallery for recent work.
